Scheduled messages can now be edited in Teachers2Parents and Groupcall
Scheduled messages can now be modified on Teachers2Parents and Groupcall, saving time and making it easier to keep communications accurate without having to recreate messages when changes are needed.

What's New?
- Edit scheduled messages before they are sent. This works for all message types: SMS, email, and messages sent through the Eduspot app.
- Open existing scheduled messages with message content, attachments, and settings already populated.
- Message content, attachments, recipients and the scheduled date and time can be modified.
- Message type icons in Scheduled Messages, making it easier to identify communications at a glance: Speech bubble for SMS, Envelope for email, Document for letters, Mobile phone for mobile app messages.
- Receive a warning if you attempt to close an edited message without saving your changes.
- Improved status visibility so you can see when changes are being processed and when scheduling has been completed.

Key Benefit(s)
- Reduce mistakes by reviewing and updating messages before delivery
- Save time by editing existing scheduled communications instead of creating them again
- Ensure messages remain accurate even when circumstances change
How it works
- Open a scheduled message. This can be done from the History menu in Groupcall or the Reports menu in Teachers2Parents.
- Select Edit on the message you want to update.
- Review and amend the message, attachments or schedule day/time as required.
- Save your changes and the message status will update to show that your request is being processed.
- The Scheduled Messages list will automatically refresh and display the latest status once processing is complete.
- You can also refresh manually at any time.
NB: If you close the message before saving, you will be warned about any unsaved changes.
